Use Xtellio with AllThingsTalk

This article explains how to set an integration between Xtellio Butler platform and AllThingsTalk IoT Platform. By the end of the tutorial, you will be getting IoT data from your Xtellio devices into your ground in AllThingsTalk.

On AllThingsTalk:

Choose an Xtellio device from our Device Catalog
Enter the desired device name and
Enter the ID of your Xtellio device in the Xtellio Device ID field (this can be found on the Xtellio Butler platform)
Click Connect
Go to Device Settings > Connectivity and note the Endpoint URL and Network Token for use in later steps.

On Xtellio Butler Platform:

Go to your Xtellio Butler account
Click the Organization button at the top
Select existing or create a new customer
In the Streaming section, click + to create a new entry

Fill out the data as shown, making sure to replace the [ENDPOINT URL] and [NETWORK TOKEN] with the Endpoint URL and Network Token noted from AllThingsTalk:

Type: HTTP
REST URL: [ENDPOINT URL]

Authentication Script: Empty

Click Save in the top right corner

All of your Xtellio devices that fall under the customer which we have created the Streamer for will now publish data to AllThingsTalk platform.
To add more devices from Xtellio Butler to AllThingsTalk, simply add the device from our Device Catalog and enter their Xtellio Device ID.
