This release introduces several usability enhancements to Flows, making it faster and easier to create, organise, and navigate complex automations.
Create Nodes Directly on the Canvas
You can now insert nodes directly where you need them. Simply double-click any empty area of the canvas to open the component picker at the cursor position and add a node instantly — without interacting with the sidebar.
Colour-Code Nodes
Nodes can now be assigned individual colours from the side drawer. Use colours to visually organise flows by function or any structure that makes your workflows easier to understand.
Group Nodes into Containers
Reduce visual clutter by selecting multiple nodes and collapsing them into a named group container. All internal and external connections are preserved automatically, allowing you to simplify large flows without affecting functionality.
One-Step Node Insertion from Connections
Building flows is now more fluid. Drag a connection from a node’s output handle and release on empty canvas space to open the component picker, create a new node, and automatically connect it — all in a single action.
Command Palette (Cmd/Ctrl + K)
Access canvas actions and components faster with the new Command Palette. Press Cmd + K (for Mac) or Ctrl + K (for Windows/Linux) to search and execute actions, insert components, or jump directly to any node on the canvas without using the mouse.
Pin Favourite Components
Frequently used components can now be pinned to the top of the component library sidebar for quick access, eliminating the need to repeatedly search or scroll through the component list.
